Why is SEO important?
SEO means optimizing your website to search engines, so it comes higher search in results and with a clearer message. An important part of this optimization is embedding snippets of code— meta tags — to the code of a website or webpage. This helps search engines better recognize what the page is about.
Based on this information, the search engines determine if your website is related to what a user is searching for. If the search engine determines your page is valuable to the user, it will list it higher in the search results.
Anima’s SEO Settings
Previously in Anima, you could only embed SEO Meta tags for the entire Anima website. Now, with our new SEO Meta Tags settings, you have more control and can embed different tags for each webpage of your website.
How to Add SEO Meta Tags?
- In your Anima project’s settings, head over to the Website tab and scroll to the SEO section
- Here you can apply the same SEO tags to all pages or click the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the SEO settings to select a specific page within your website
- Once you selected the page you want to edit, fill out the information, upload the images, and add the Title, Description, and Custom HTML Tags.
- Click save after each edit, and when you are done, click Apply Changes at the bottom of the SEO settings section
Make sure the meta tags are in the correct format: <meta… />
