How to Add Fixed Positions

Fixed position allows you to set ‘floating’ layers that do not scroll with your website content. This is great for menus, navigation headers, call-to-action footers, and more.

Figma:

  1. Select an element, group or component within your frame whose position you want to fix

  2. Make sure that the auto layout of the frame is removed (You can't enable a fixed scroll position to objects on a frame with auto layout)

  3. Go to Prototype

  4. Set the Position under Scroll behavior to Fixed

  5. Sync or Preview the file with the Anima plugin

Adobe XD:

  1. Select an element, group or component within your frame whose position you want to fix

  2. Select Fix position when scrolling from the sidebar

  3. Sync or Preview the file with the Anima plugin

Sketch:

  1. Select an element or group within your frame whose position you want to fix

  2. In the Prototype tab of the Anima plugin, expand the Smart Layers section and select Fixed Position

  3. Sync or Preview the file with your Anima plugin
